Paranoid Android, one of the more popular custom ROMs for Andoid phones, now has multiple release versions based on Android 10 available. Among others, OnePlus phones, the Xiaomi Mi 6 and 9 and the Essential Phone are compatible.

The full list consists of the Asus Zenfone Pro Max M2 and Zenfone Pro Max M1, the Essential Phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro, 6, 6T, 3 and 3T, the Redmi 5, the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Mi 6. Install from the Android 9 based version of Paranoid Android is not possible, so users have to flash the zip file of the os through the recovery. Incidentally, the ROM is called Paranoid Android Quartz.

The ROM has Google apps pre-installed, SafetyNet is intact on most devices, has the April Security Patch and a host of minor features detailed in the blog post. In this version it is also possible to apply incremental updates, which means that only the necessary data needs to be downloaded and not a completely new rom. Further updates can also be downloaded and installed within the OS itself, users do not have to do manual installations via recovery.

The development team further writes that release versions for a handful of phones are also on the way, including for the OnePlus 5, 5T, 7, 7T, 7T Pro, Pocophone F1, Xiaomi Mi 9T and 9T Pro and more.
