Paradox brings football stadiums to Cities: Skylines
Paradox Interactive has announced the Match Day DLC for Cities: Skylines. The expansion allows players to build stadiums and host sporting events such as football matches in their city. The expansion pack will be available for free.
The stadiums and events bring in extra money but saddle players with, for example, traffic congestion. On Steam, Paradox talks about stadiums and sporting events, but on its own pages, the company emphasizes that it is about football stadiums and football matches, in honor of the start of the European Football Championship.
Players can compose the colors of the teams themselves. The release of the free dlc coincides with that of patch 1.5.0-f4, which fixes some minor bugs. In addition, five items that were previously part of pre-orders will become available: Carousel, Dog Park, Bouncy Castle, Basketball Court and Botanical Garden.
