Paradox announces Cities: Skylines II for release later this year
Paradox has announced Cities: Skylines II. Unlike the first part of the game, Cities: Skylines II seems to be released immediately for consoles. The original game was first released only for PC.
As in the predecessor, the game will let players create and manage their own city, but Paradox has not given many details. The developer of the new game is just like the original Colossal Order from Finland.
Paradox says that the 2015 game’s successor will include “many options for building and customization,” bringing “advanced modding capabilities.” It is unknown what exactly that will mean in practice. The game will be released later this year for PC, Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5. The trailer says nothing about Nintendo platforms. The original game did come out for the Switch.
