Panasonic Announces Full 2022 Lineup of OLED and LCD Televisions
Panasonic has announced its full 2022 lineup of OLED and LCD televisions. The company is introducing five new OLED televisions and several LCD TVs with screen diagonals from 42 to 77″. Prices and release dates have not yet been announced.
Panasonic previously shared details about its highest-ranking OLED TV for this year, the LZ2000. The company is now also unveiling its other 2022 OLED models in a press release. For example, the company will also launch an LZ1500 this year. According to Panasonic, the LZ2000 and LZ1500 will have a ‘Master OLED Pro’ panel, which Panasonic claims has better color reproduction.
The LZ1500 comes with a screen diagonal of up to 65″, while the LZ2000 will also be available as a 77″ model. The Panasonic LZ2000 must offer a better integrated sound system with speakers that are directed forwards, sideways and upwards.

The manufacturer also comes with three other OLED televisions. The LZ1000 will have a ‘Master OLED’ panel and will be available in 55″ and 65″ variants. The LZ980 and LZ800 get a regular OLED panel and come with screen diagonals of 65″, 55″, 48″ and 42″. All televisions in Panasonic’s OLED line-up get HDMI 2.1 connections and support for HDR10 + and Dolby Vision.
There will also be support for a movie maker mode, a Netflix Adaptive Calibrated mode and Dolby Vision IQ. The OLED models all offer 4k120 support and a variable refresh rate. Panasonic introduces a Game Control Board function. That’s an overlay where users can easily change gaming-related settings.
Panasonic’s Core LED series of LCD TVs consists of an LX940 and LX800. Both models will be available with screen diagonals from 43″ to 87″. The LX940 would get a better soc for image processing. These TVs also get 4k120 support via HDMI 2.1 and a variable refresh rate. The panels also differ, in which the higher positioned models achieve a higher brightness.
