There will not be another open beta available for Overwatch 2. Developer Blizzard says it has gathered enough feedback to continue working on the game. The shooter is set to release on October 4.

The last open beta of Overwatch 2 took place between June 18 and July 18. Blizzard CEO Jon Spector reports that no new open beta will be available prior to the shooter’s release. “With all the valuable feedback we’ve received from our alpha test and two public beta tests, we’ll make the effort to work on the best version of the game, which will be out on October 4,” Spector wrote.

Overwatch 2 was already announced in 2019 and earlier this year the developer already came up with some new details. The game consists of a pvp part, which is similar to its predecessor, and a new pve part with a story. Those two parts come out separately.
