Overkill Software Adds VR DLC to Payday 2
Overkill Software has removed the free VR DLC for Payday 2 from the separate beta and added it to the game. This makes it possible to play almost the entire game in virtual reality, with a few exceptions.
According to Overkill, it is now no longer necessary to switch to the beta channel, because the DLC is included in the game. The addition would now have matured in such a way that this addition was possible and development can continue in the game itself. The DLC is available on the game’s Store page where players can add it. Each time the game then starts, players will be given the option to turn on vr mode.
Several weapons that are now missing in the VR version will soon have to be added, such as different crossbows and the Chain Whip. In addition, different scopes for snipers are available, cars can be driven and the inventory is customizable.
The mode allows players to hang out together, regardless of whether they are using the desktop version, an Oculus Rift or an HTC Vive. The beta of the VR version came out in November of last year.
