Overclocker HiCookie has achieved a speed of 11,136 megatransfers per second with DDR5 memory. With that, the overclocker has broken the previous record. The record speed was achieved with a strip of Gigabyte memory.

HiCookie used for the record speed according to his HWBot entry a 16GB DDR5 module from Gigabyte and timings of 64-127-127-127-127-2. This memory was air-cooled and is not yet for sale to consumers. The previous record stood at 11130MT/s with SK Hynix memory.

HiCookie’s system also consisted of a Z790 Aorus Tachyon motherboard and an Intel Core i9-13900k. That processor was cooled with liquid nitrogen and had a clock speed of 3.1 GHz. Besides on HWBot, he shared the result on CPU-Z.
