Fiber optic outside has started a fiber optic campaign for the construction of a fiber optic network in the outlying areas of the municipalities of Sint-Michielsgestel and Meierijstad, south of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Residents of both municipalities can register for a fiber optic connection. Fiber optic outside has determined that before May 7, at least 50 percent of all addresses in the area must have purchased a fiber optic subscription from one of the providers. If that number is not met, the plans will not go ahead.

As usual, residents must not only conclude an agreement for a fiber optic connection in advance, but also choose to pay a standing fee. This fee can be paid by paying 15 euros every month during the entire term on top of the subscription price, or by transferring 1815 euros once.

According to Fiber Optic Outside, not only are Caiway, Solcon, WeServe and C-Bizz available to provide services over the fiber network, but Delta has also joined. Delta is a Zeeland provider that is mainly active in the province of Zeeland, but will now also offer fiber subscriptions in the outlying areas of Sint-Michielsgestel and Meierijstad.
