Original Iron Man suit stolen from Los Angeles storage

The original Iron Man suit has disappeared from a storage in Los Angeles. The suit was used in the first Iron Man movie, which came out in 2008, and is said to be worth $325,000. It is unknown who is behind the theft.

It is not clear when the suit was stolen, writes the LA Times. A police spokesman said that employees at the building where the suit was stored happened to check to see if it was still there and then found out that it was missing. Police say the suit was probably stolen between February and April.

The suit that was stolen was only used in the first Iron Man movie and was worn there by actor Robert Downey Jr. Newer movies have used different suits. The fate of the costume is unknown, but it probably won’t be long before it can be found on Craigslist for an exorbitant amount.
