OPPO will release the Find N2 Flip folding phone in Europe next year
OPPO will release its Find N2 Flip foldable phone in Europe next year. The manufacturer announced this at its own Inno Day event. The Flip is the first folding phone from the Chinese manufacturer.
The Find N2 Flip has a 6.8″ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate on the inside. On the outside there is a 17:9 screen of 3.26″ measuring 7.3×3.9cm. The screen is also in portrait to make it easier to read notifications, the manufacturer says.
The Flip runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+. The phone has a 32-megapixel camera as a selfie camera in the screen and two cameras on the outside. A 50-megapixel camera, a Sony IMX890, as the primary camera. There is also a camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens. Details about the release will be released later. The Find N2 Flip is the first foldable smartphone from OPPO that will be released outside of China.
OPPO also announced a successor to last year’s Find N. The Find N2 has not changed in concept compared to the Find N: it is a compact foldable phone with an 18:9 screen on the outside and an almost square screen on the inside. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, compared to the Snapdragon 888 of the Find N. The phone also has a lighter hinge and fewer screen edges. Other changes are in the software: there is a separate menu that comes up by folding the screen and a kind of laptop function by folding the screen halfway. The Find N2 will only be released in China. OPPO did not provide details about prices.
