OPPO starts Android 13 upgrade Find X5 smartphones
OPPO has started offering the Android 13 upgrade for its Find X5 phones. That says the manufacturer when announcing its Color OS 13 skin based on Android 13. OPPO wants to upgrade 35 models before the end of the year.
This brings the upgrade to 160 million users, claims OPPO at its own event. After the Find X5 and X5 Pro come last year’s Find X3 phones and the Reno8 Pro. More phones will follow in October, including A-series and F-series phones. Cheaper models and OPPO’s tablet will only follow next year. The foldable Find N is missing from the list.
In addition, OPPO has added its own functions. Multi Screen Connect allows users to display apps from their smartphone on their PC. There are also new design elements in the themes and on the lockscreen.
Android 13 came out this week. The upgrade was the first to appear on Google’s own Pixel phones for the past three years.
