Oppo releases A53 smartphone with 90Hz screen for 179 euros

Oppo releases the A53 and A53s, budget smartphones with prices of 179 and 199 euros. Both phones have a 90Hz LCD, a 5000mAh battery and a macro camera with a 2-megapixel sensor. The A53 has 64GB of storage space; with the A53s this is 128GB.

Oppo provides the A53 smartphones with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octacore and 4GB ram. The screen is a 6.5 “LCD with a 20: 9 ratio, a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The 8.4mm thick housing contains a 5000mAh battery which can be charged with 18W via the USB-C connection.

At the back of the smartphones are a fingerprint scanner and three cameras. The primary camera has an OmniVision 13-megapixel sensor.
