Oppo provides F3 Plus smartphone with two selfie cameras
The Chinese manufacturer Oppo has announced a smartphone with two front cameras. One of the cameras has a normal angle of view and a 16-megapixel resolution. The other camera has a wide-angle lens and shoots eight-megapixel photos.
The manufacturer has provided the F3 Plus with two selfie cameras so that it should be easy to take group selfies. According to Oppo, the phone automatically switches between the two cameras based on how many people are in the picture.
The wide-angle lens has an angle of view of 120 degrees. Behind this lens is a camera sensor with an eight-megapixel resolution. It is not known how large that sensor is and what the aperture of the lens is. Oppo does give those details of the regular selfie camera. It has a 16-megapixel 1/3″ sensor and an f/2.0 lens with an 80-degree field of view.
The device runs on ColorOS 3.0, which is based on Android 6.0. The smartphone contains a Snapdragon 653 soc from Qualcomm. That is an octacore with four Cortex-A72 cores at 1.95GHz and a cluster of four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.44GHz. There is 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and the battery has a capacity of 4000mAh. On the back is a 16-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 lens. Like the OnePlus 3T, this camera uses the 1/2.8″ Sony IMX398 sensor.
The Oppo F3 Plus has a 6 “screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The device is 7.4 mm thick and weighs 185 grams. There is a fingerprint scanner at the front. The phone follows the F1 Plus. Also with that model, the manufacturer on fanatical selfie makers, but that device had one front camera.
