Oppo announces Lite version of the F3 smartphone
Oppo has announced the F3 Lite, a smartphone with a 5.2 “screen, which is a smaller version than the previously announced F3 and F3 Plus. The manufacturer will also release the new smartphone outside its home country of China.
Gizmochina, among others, reports that Oppo has quietly introduced its latest addition to the F3 series, including for the Vietnamese market. As far as the hardware is concerned, the manufacturer has opted for a 5.2 “screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. In the housing runs a Snapdragon 435-soc that works together with 3GB ram. Furthermore, there is 32GB storage memory and there is on the back of The housing has a 13-megapixel camera, the front has another 16-megapixel camera. For the software, Oppo uses its own Color OS 3.0, which is based on the outdated Android 6.0.
One of the main differences from the previously announced F3 is that there is no built-in dual camera on the front; the F3 has an 8-megapixel camera in addition to the 16-megapixel camera, and that is mainly intended to shoot photos with a wider angle of view. Also, the screen of the F3 with 5.5 “is slightly larger, and the resolution with 1920×1080 pixels is higher. Oppo therefore seems to market the F3 Lite as a cheaper variant.
With the F3 Plus, Oppo has also released a larger version of the smartphone; it has a screen diagonal of 6″, and it also has a dual camera on the front. Although Oppo has also released smartphones in Europe in the past, it is still unclear whether the F3 series will find its way to European sellers.
