OpenAI releases ChatGPT Plus update with PDF support

OpenAI has apparently given ChatGPT Plus an update, allowing it to analyze PDFs. All tools are now built-in, so customers no longer have to change the interface to use a tool.

OpenAI seems to be the update for some users have already put it live. Not all customers have access to the new version. There is also no announcement yet on the OpenAI site itself. With the update, ChatGPT can analyze PDFs. Customers can upload these via the service’s chat box.

In addition, it has become possible to adjust images that customers upload. A customer shows in a demo that ChatGPT Plus understands the prompt ‘make an image like this dog but then running’ and lets Dall-E generate an image based on the photo the customer uploaded. Dall-E 3 has been in ChatGPT since earlier this month. The new features require the paid subscription ChatGPT Plus.
