Online.nl switches to Canal Digitaal TV and raises prices
Dsl provider Online.nl is switching from its own service for Interactive TV to that of Canal Digitaal. As a result, customers receive FOX Sports channels as standard. The switch is accompanied by a price increase of 4.50 euros for parcels.
Online, FOX Sports adds Eredivisie channels 1, 3 and 5, the HD channels and the interactive TV options such as Record, Pause, Begin Missed and Missed TV as standard to the basic subscription. Those who already purchased these services as an extra will lose less from 1 November.
However, customers for the packages with television will pay more from that date. The additional cost per month is 4.50 euros. Online.nl still claims to be cheap because customers would have to pay separately from other providers for comparable interactive TV options.
On June 1, the provider implemented a price increase for only the internet packages.
