OnLeaks shows renders of Xiaomi 12 smartphone
OnLeaks has made renders of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 smartphone. The device would have a 6.2 “screen and is therefore smaller than its predecessor. The camera island at the back also has a changed design.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi 12 are 152.7×70.0x8.6mm, Zoutons claims. That website published the images of the renders in collaboration with creator OnLeaks† The phone would have a hole in the middle of the screen for the selfie camera. The screen is tapered at the edges and is rumored to have an FHD+ resolution.
On the back is a rectangular camera island with three cameras. Nothing is known about the specifications of those cameras yet. The primary camera may get a relatively large sensor, given the size of the lens it uses. The thickness increases to 11.5mm where the camera island is located.
With its 6.2 “screen, the Xiaomi 12 is a bit smaller than its predecessor. The Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 6.8” screen. The new device no longer has a Mi designation in the name. Xiaomi has stopped using its use, which has already happened with the Xiaomi 11T devices.
The Android device would run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-soc, be equipped with 8GB of ram and contain a 5000mAh battery. Xiaomi is rumored to announce its new smartphone in late December or early January next year. It is obvious that there will be different versions of the Xiaomi 12. There are also Ultra, Pro, Lite and 11i variants of the Mi 11.
