OnLeaks shares renders of all Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones

OnLeaks has shared renders of Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy S devices. This shows that the design of the Galaxy S22 and S22 + remains largely unchanged, although the Ultra variant gets a Note-like design with a renewed camera island.

According to renders from the reliable leaker OnLeaks, which are published by Digit India, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a flat top and bottom and rounded sides, reminiscent of the Galaxy Note series. The screen edges are also slightly curved. The device must, among other things, offer a 6.8 “screen, which is expected to use an AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra also gets a new camera setup. The smartphone will have four cameras and a few sensors, which are incorporated in a P-shaped camera island. The specifications of this set-up are not yet known, although one of the camera sensors would again get a periscope telephoto lens. The selfie camera is once again incorporated into a hole in the screen. The device has dimensions of 163.2×77.9×8.9mm and is 10.9mm thick when the camera island is included. At the bottom of the device is also a slot for an S Pen stylus and a USB-C connector.

Galaxy S22 and S22+ are similar to S21 series

OnLeaks also publishes renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and the regular Galaxy S22, via 91mobiles and Zouton. This shows that the devices will have a similar design to their respective predecessors from the S21 line-up.

Both devices will again have a narrow camera island, in which three camera sensors are incorporated. The sides of the camera island again bend with the frame of the housing and the selfie cameras in the S22 and S22 + are incorporated in a hole in the screen. OnLeaks and 91mobiles further report that the S22+ may be released under a different model name, namely ‘Galaxy S22 Pro’.

The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ differ in screen size, among other things. According to Zouton, the regular S22 will have a flat screen of about 6″, while the S22 + according to 91mobiles would have a flat 6.55″ display. The battery capacity is also said to differ between the two devices, although both variants are rumored to have a smaller battery than their predecessors.

91mobiles is also rumored to say that the S22 series will get 120Hz displays and support for fast charging up to 65W. That has not yet been confirmed, and recently there were rumors that the S22 phones may support 45W fast charging. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ may have a primary 50-megapixel camera, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra could be equipped with a 108-megapixel sensor.
