OnePlus will release Nord Buds 2 earbuds with active noise cancellation on April 20

OnePlus introduces its Nord Buds 2 earbuds. This time the earplugs have active noise cancellation. The Nord Buds 2 will be released on April 20. They have a recommended retail price of 69 euros, making them 20 euros more expensive than their predecessor.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 can dampen up to 25dB of ambient noise with the noise cancellation function, the manufacturer claims. The previous OnePlus Nord Buds did not support active noise cancellation. The new Nord Buds 2 also have a transparency mode that allows ambient sound to pass through the earplugs. The Nord Buds 2 are splash-proof with an IP55 certification.

The earbuds’ 41mAh batteries last up to five hours when active noise cancellation is enabled. According to OnePlus, without that feature they have a battery life of seven hours, just like the previous Nord Buds. The Nord Buds 2 also support fast charging. According to the manufacturer, users can listen to music for five hours after charging for ten minutes. The company also supplies a charging case with a 480mAh battery. According to the company, this can extend the total battery life to 27 hours with noise cancellation enabled or 36 hours without ANC. OnePlus supplies a USB-C cable to charge the case.
