OnePlus Watch costs 159 euros
OnePlus has announced its first smartwatch. The round watch has a diameter of 46mm, has a 1.39″ OLED screen and runs on its own operating system. The smartwatch has 4GB of storage space, of which 2GB is available.
The OnePlus Watch is made of stainless steel and finished with a dial of curved glass. The screen has a resolution of 454×454 pixels and the battery has a capacity of 402mAh. It would last up to two weeks and a full charge takes 53 minutes.
The smartwatch is equipped with a GPS, heart rate monitor, blood oxygen meter, gyroscope, compass and accelerometer. Numerous fitness activities can be recorded with this. The watch has an IP68 classification and is therefore dust and waterproof and also suitable for swimming.
The watch runs on its own RTOS and is equipped with fifty watch faces. There is 4GB of flash storage, of which 2GB is available to users. The storage space can be used, for example, to put on music. The watch has bluetooth and can connect with wireless earphones and with Android and iOS smartphones, to pass on notifications.
The OnePlus Watch has a suggested retail price of 159 euros. It is not yet clear from when the smartwatch will be for sale. OnePlus announced the watch at the presentation of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The Pro model will be released at the end of March for 899 euros and the regular version will follow at the end of April for 699 euros.
