OnePlus wants to add always-on function and camera control to Watch with updates

OnePlus wants to add an always-on function and a function to control a phone’s camera to its smartwatch with future updates. The manufacturer has announced this.

The functions are not yet in the update that is now released, reports OnePlus. It mainly contains fixes for problems that arise, such as improving GPS reception and making activity tracking more precise. According to many reviewers, that went wrong in the previous version of the software.

Upcoming versions of the firmware for the Watch will have new features. In addition to the always-on screen and the option to control the camera of an Android phone from the watch, there will also be an AI Watch Face, without OnePlus explaining what it will do exactly. The OnePlus Watch came out last month.
