OnePlus stops selling OnePlus 3
Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus stops selling the OnePlus 3. On Tuesday, the brand presented a slightly faster and slightly more expensive variant, the OnePlus 3T. Initially it was unclear whether the predecessor would remain in the range.
OnePlus tells AndroidAuthority that sales of the OP3 in Europe and the US will stop after the release of the new model. At the moment, the OnePlus website still indicates that the device is for sale, but when customers try to place an order, they see that the smartphone is out of stock.
After the introduction of the OnePlus 3T, it was unclear whether the old model would remain in the range. Initially, the brand’s customer service told people that new stock of the devices would be coming.
The OnePlus 3T has a slightly faster Snapdragon 821-soc, a 16-megapixel front camera and a slightly larger battery capacity. The device is for sale from November 28 for 439 euros, an additional cost of 40 euros compared to the OnePlus 3. There will also be a variant with 128GB storage space, which costs 479 euros.
