OnePlus is said to be preparing to release televisions in Europe. According to WinFuture, CEO Pete Lau has said this in conversation with media. There are no concrete plans about when and which models will appear.

OnePlus released its first TVs in India in 2019 and new models followed a year later. The Chinese manufacturer makes televisions with Android TV and the Q1 series distinguishes itself with a soundbar hidden behind the screen that slides down when used.

According to WinFuture, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau says the company is preparing to enter the European market with TVs. Concrete details about when that will happen and which models will appear have not been disclosed.

The current range of OnePlus TV models consists of LCD TVs with a 55″ panel and a 4K resolution. The manufacturer in India also has budget models in the range in the Y series. This is a 43″ model with a 1080p panel and a 32″ TV with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

Even before the announcement of the first OnePlus TVs, the manufacturer said that the TVs would eventually also come to Europe and the United States. Lau then said this would be done at a “later stage.” That is now almost two years ago.
