OnePlus adds Swiftkey and MaxxAudio to One smartphone with update

OnePlus has added the Swiftkey keyboard and audio software MaxxAudio to the firmware for the One via an update. In addition, the update brings several ways to focus with the camera, including continuous autofocus.

The continuous autofocus is especially useful in video, where the focused object must also remain in focus during movement. In addition, there is an infinite focus for landscape photos, for example. In addition to these additions, bugs have been fixed in the major update, claims OnePlus.

The update is coming over-the-air to OnePlus One users running the CyanogenMod release for the smartphone. OnePlus is also still working on its own firmware under the name OxygenOS, of which it will show more on Thursday.

OnePlus released the One smartphone last summer. In many cases, the manufacturer still demands an invitation to buy the device, although the manufacturer will sell the phone without an invitation every week from Tuesday.
