OnePlus 11 and Nothing Phone (1) get Android 14 betas
The OnePlus 11 and Nothing Phone (1) are among the devices that can run the beta of Android 14 starting this week. That has been announced by Google. Many brands that were still on board last year are no longer participating this year.
Nokia, ASUS, Sharp and ZTE had phones last year that could install the beta of the next Android version, but those brands are no longer there this year. OPPO and Xiaomi are there, says Google. Xiaomi is the only one that has more than one phone in the beta program: the 13 Pro, 13 and 12T.
The phones are ringing second beta of Android 14 turn. This includes various camera improvements, such as Ultra HDR for 10-bit HDR images and the ability to send lossless audio via the USB port. Android 14 should be released at the end of summer or early fall.
