Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is coming to the Nintendo Switch. That makes the Oddworld account known on Twitter. When the platform game appears is not yet clear. The game was released on the Xbox for the first time in 2005 and would also come to the Wii U.

In a short tweet Oddworld announces that Stranger’s Wrath is coming to the Switch. Next week the game will be playable for visitors of the British EGX fair. Unlike other Oddworld games, Stranger’s Wrath is not a sidescroller, but a 3d platform action game.

Which version of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath comes to the Nintendo Switch is not clear. The game originally came out in 2005 for the Xbox. In 2010, the game also appeared on Steam and in December 2011 an HD version was released for the PlayStation 3. A year later the game also came out for the PlayStation Vita.

In 2014 a mobile version of the game was released for Android and iOS. A version of Wii U was already announced a year earlier, but it never came true. However, a version for the Ouya console was issued in 2015.
