NZXT releases G12 bracket to install PhD water coolers on GPUs

NZXT introduces the Kraken G12, a bracket to install all-in-one water coolers on video cards. According to the manufacturer, the new model is easier to install than the predecessor Kraken G10. The adapter is compatible with thirty PhD water coolers.

The Kraken G12 can be combined with its own water coolers from the Kraken X-series according to NZXT, but can also be used with models from the Corsair H-series and with various water coolers from Thermaltake, Antec and Zalman.

A 92mm fan is incorporated in the bracket that should provide cooling for the memory and the VRMs. This fan spins at 1500rpm. The accessory works with almost all recent video cards from Nvidia and AMD. Some Radeon R9 300 and R9 200 series models may require a copper shim.

NZXT is releasing a black and white variant of the Kraken G12. The accessory costs $29.95 and therefore has the same suggested retail price as the current Kraken G10, which is for sale for about 22 euros.
