Hardware manufacturer NZXT has developed its first motherboard and announced it during the CES fair. The board has a Z370 chipset on board and is therefore intended for Intel’s Coffee Lake processors.

The motherboard, which NZXT calls the N7 Z370, has been designed in its own style, resulting in a black and white motherboard with a full metal cover of all parts. As standard, the manufacturer supplies the N7 with a black or white metal cover and separate cover plates, but blue, red and purple plates are also available to combine with different housing colors. The m.2 drives have separate cover plates that serve as heatsinks, but only the heatsinks for the chipset and power supply are available in different colors. They cost $15 a set.

The N7 motherboard has Intel’s Z370 chipset on board and has four memory slots in addition to the CPU socket. Five expansion slots are available: two x16 video card slots, two x4 slots, and one x1 slot. The board also has two m.2 slots for SSDs and of course the necessary internal USB headers and connections for water pumps and fans. The N7 has a built-in fan controller and control for RGB lighting and comes with LED strips and extension cables for LED lighting. The N7 Z370 motherboard costs $300 without VAT.
