Nvidia teaser seems to show laptop with two screens

Nvidia has posted a teaser on Twitter of a device that looks like a laptop with two screens. Asus and MSI posted the same teaser shortly afterwards, suggesting that they play a role in the production.

In typical teaser style places Nvidia just a laptop emoji and a question mark. Nothing further has been announced. The video lasts five seconds, with the music ending abruptly. That may suggest that the teaser is part of a longer video to be released later. Asus posted same tweet five minutes later and MSI followed an hour afterwards.

With a laptop with two screens, the keyboard part is also a screen, but in the form of a touchscreen. An advantage of this is that all kinds of applications can be conceived for such a second screen, but a disadvantage is that the user can no longer feel where the keys are, which increases the risk of wrong keystrokes during touch typing.

If these suspicions are correct, however, Nvidia won’t have a first. For example, Lenovo already unveiled a laptop in August 2018 with a second e-ink screen built in. This one has actually come on the market.
