Nvidia starts selling sturdy sli bridges with LED lighting
Nvidia brings sli bridges to the consumer market that are equipped with LED lighting.
The sli-bridges with LED lighting are currently only available through the Nvidia Store. Often such connectors for connecting GeForce cards are flexible, but Nvidia has opted for robust variants. The design is in line with that of the last generation cards from Nvidia, when it comes to reference cards. The bridges come in three variants. Two have two connectors: one for when the cards in the slots are next to each other and one with a slot space. The third has three connections, without gaps.
The bridges are currently only available in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands and they are not very cheap. The models with two connections are available for 29.99 dollars, converted more than 23 euros. The model with three connections is for sale for 39.99 dollars, more than 31 euros. There is no word yet on a European release date. GeForce Experience 1.7 or later is required for the LED lighting for the GeForce logo to function.
