Nvidia releases release of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti by week until September 27
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti comes out a week later than the manufacturer promised at the announcement. The top model of the new RTX video card series should now be available from 27 September. Pre-orders may have already been delivered.
Customers who have already ordered a card can expect this between 20 and 27 September, reports Nvidia on its forum . From the 27th the cards must be available in stores. The gpu maker does not mention a reason for the postponement. Nvidia announced in August that the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti would be released on September 20 at the same time. As far as we know, the release of the regular RTX 2080 has not been delayed.
Earlier, the embargoes for reviews had already been changed, reported VideoCardz . Reviews of the video cards appear on September 19th. Initially it was intended that the reviews of the RTX 2080 would appear on September 14, followed by reviews of the 2080 Ti on September 19. The embargo date for both cards has now been aligned.
