Nvidia Releases Beta Fix for Framerate Issues in Windows 11 22H2
Nvidia has responded to the performance issues that Windows 11 22H2 users with an Nvidia GPU are experiencing. The company has addressed the issues in a beta release of GeForce Experience. A non-beta version of the solution will be released this week.
The fix will be implemented in GeForce Experience version 3.26, writes Nvidia in a support article. A beta version of this release is already available. Nvidia says a non-beta version of this solution will be available to everyone the week of September 26. The company will then roll out GeForce Experience 3.26 via a new GeForce Game Ready driver.
Users can currently install the solution in two ways. Users can manually download and install the beta update from Nvidia’s support article. It is also possible to transfer an existing GeForce Experience installation to the beta release. Users need to enable the ‘Enable Experimental Features’ option in the settings for that.
Several Nvidia users recently reported experiencing performance issues in games since they switched to Windows 11 22H2. Nvidia says now to Tom’s Hardware that the performance issues in Windows 11 22H2 were caused by GeForce Experience, but won’t go into details. Earlier, the company said in the Nvidia forum that Windows 11 22H2 has added new debugging tools, which are currently being unintentionally activated, presumably by the GeForce Experience app.
