Nvidia puts suspected GeForce 1000 timer online that expires Friday
Nvidia will probably present its GeForce video cards with Pascal GPU at 7 p.m. Friday. This is apparent from a puzzle that various websites were sent. Nvidia is likely to announce the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.
Several tech websites were sent a mysterious puzzle piece made of metal in a plastic container entitled ‘Order of 10’. To solve the puzzle, the different editors had to work together. The puzzle points to a website with a countdown clock.
The clock runs down to Friday evening 7:00 PM. Nvidia will probably show its new Pascal GPUs for gamers. Previous rumors and leaked photos pointed to the arrival of a GeForce GTX 1080 with 8GB gddr5x memory and a GTX 1070 with 8GB gddr5.
In total, the puzzle consists of six pieces and the whole forms a hexagon or hexagon. The solution leads to a website titled ‘Humanity shall be enlightened’. The site shows the Earth and polygon-shaped puzzle pieces flying towards it. Despite the hamburger menu at the top left, there isn’t much else to see on the site. One menu item shows the countdown clock, the other the solution of the six puzzle pieces.
