Nvidia introduces a new Quadro RTX video card, positioned below the previously released models. The Quadro RTX 4000 has 8GB gddr6 on board and a gpu with 2304 Cuda cores. That’s comparable to the GeForce RTX 2070.

According to Nvidia, the Quadro RTX 4000 will cost about $900, making it more than half the price of the RTX 5000. The new model has fewer Cuda cores, but also fewer Tensor and RT cores. The GPU specifications correspond in all respects to those of the GeForce RTX 2070 for gamers.

Nvidia equips its Quadro cards with different drivers, thus guaranteeing operation with 3D design software packages. The video card was announced at the annual Autodesk University Conference in Las Vegas. Dell, HP and Lenovo are going to put the Quadro RTX cards in their workstations.

The Quadro RTX 4000 is the fourth RTX card for workstations. When introducing the RTX architecture, Nvidia introduced the first three variants. The previously introduced models have a larger GPU and more VRAM.
