Number of companies paying for Zoom grows to 433,700
There are 433,700 companies with a minimum of ten employees that pay for the video calling service Zoom. It is a growth of 63,500 companies compared to the previous quarter. Zoom’s quarterly sales were nearly four times higher than last year.
The service does not say how many users Zoom has in total. When presenting its quarterly figures, the video calling service does report the number of paying companies, and since the corona crisis this has been on the rise. The growth compared to last year is 485 percent.
Zoom now has 1,289 large customers, each of which generated a turnover of $ 100,000 in the past twelve months. That is an increase of 136 percent compared to the same period last year.
Zoom’s quarterly revenue was $ 777.2 million, up 367 percent from a year ago. Net income was $ 198.4 million. Zoom also expects growth figures in the next quarter, but after that the company thinks the rapid growth will be over.
