Nubia releases Red Magic Mars gaming smartphone in the Benelux for 399 euros
Nubia releases its gaming smartphone in the Benelux. A model of the Red Magic Mars with 6GB ram and 64GB flash storage costs 399 euros and a version with 8GB ram and 128GB storage is for sale for 449 euros. The phone has capacitive shoulder buttons.
Nubia will sell the Red Magic Mars from Tuesday worldwide via its own website, including in the Benelux. The device has a 6″ LCD with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, is equipped with a Snapdragon 845-soc and a battery with a capacity of 3800mAh. The phone runs on Android 9.0.
The Red Magic Mars has capacitive parts on the sides, which can serve as shoulder buttons. Nubia calls them Mars Triggers and states that the phone is a gamepad, as it were. Users should therefore not have to use them separately.
Furthermore, Nubia states that the Red Magic Mars has good cooling, which works with a vapor chamber. On the back of the phone is an RGB LED strip and on the side is a physical slider that activates the Red Magic Game Space. That is a hub from which Android games can be started. The phone was unveiled at the end of November last year and released first in China.
