Noctua launches 24V variants of IndustrialPPC fans

Austria’s Noctua announces a new series of 24V fans. These are variants of the existing IndustrialPPC fans. The four new fans are suitable for industrial use, but the manufacturer states that they also come into their own in PCs.

The new Noctua 24V IndustrialPPC series consists of the NF-F12 and NF-A14, a 120mm and 140m version respectively. There are two variants of both models, with maximum speeds of 2000rpm and 3000rpm. These speeds apply when the fans are connected to 24 volts. If you use the fans in a PC on 12V, the fans will run at a maximum of 1100rpm and 1700rpm. With the PWM connection, the speed can be controlled automatically based on the temperature.

Initially, the Noctua IndustrialPPC fans are made for industrial applications. For example, 24 volt fans are used in servers. The fans have also received an IP-67 certification, which means that they are dust and moisture resistant. According to the specifications, the fans can perform their work for 150,000 hours, Noctua gives a six-year warranty. The manufacturer states that the fans are also interesting for enthusiastic PC users. When running on 12V, the IndustrialPPC fans would do their job as quietly as regular Noctua’s. Noctua mentions a suggested retail price of 29.90 euros.
