Noctua introduces a 24V variant of its NF-A4x10. Currently there is only a 12V variant of this 40mm fan. The new 24V version is intended for 3D printers, among other things, says the Austrian manufacturer.

Noctua previously introduced a converter to use 12V fans on 24V, but is now releasing a native 24V version of his NF-A4x10. Given its voltage, this fan cannot be used in PCs. The fan requires a minimum voltage of 17V, the manufacturer writes on its product page. The fan is therefore mainly intended for 3D printers, which often use 24V fans.

Noctua supplies the fan with various adapters, with which it can be connected to popular 3D printers, including the Creality Ender 3, Creality CR-10 and Anycubic Mega. The fan can therefore be used, for example, to cool the hot end of such printers. Noctua also supplies a Low Noise adapter, in addition to a 30cm extension cable. The fan itself has a relatively short cable of 20cm.

The fan supports PWM to control the speed, from 1100 to a maximum of 5000rpm. The NF-A4x10 24V is available immediately and costs 15.90 euros.
