Noctua announces AMD Ryzen versions of three CPU coolers
Noctua announces new versions of three existing coolers for use with AMD’s new Ryzen processors. These are the NHD15 SE-AM4, the NH-U12S SE AM4 and the NH-L9x65 SE AM4.
The three coolers are the manufacturer’s first models to come standard with an AM4 socket mounting kit. With the so-called SecuFirm2 mounting, the coolers can be installed in different orientations. Noctua also supplies its own thermal paste and buyers receive a six-year warranty.
Noctua’s other coolers can also be made suitable for the AM4 boards. The company previously announced that all coolers it has released since 2005, with the exception of the NH-L9i, can be placed on an AM4 motherboard with a conversion kit. These kits can be ordered free of charge from Noctua upon presentation of a proof of purchase.
Noctua gives a suggested retail price of 89.90 euros for the NH-D15 SE-AM4, 59.90 euros for the NH-U12S SE-AM4 and the NH-L9x65 SE-AM4 should cost 44.90 euros. According to the company, the coolers are currently being shipped to sellers and will be available “soon”.
