No More Heroes III coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC this year
The game No More Heroes III is coming this year to Windows and the current and previous generation Xbox and Playstation. The ports developer also promises faster load times, higher frame rates and better graphics.
The improved performance on the new platforms is probably a welcome improvement for this game. Reviews of No More Heroes III were generally positive, but people were not happy with the frame rates that the Nintendo Switch managed to achieve during gameplay.
In addition to the technical improvements, the game will also be released in a physical edition. This contains the soundtrack, a 70-page artbook and the game on a disc. It is unclear in which markets this physical edition will appear on the shelves. The physical edition costs $60, but what the digital ports will cost is unknown. The details are reported by including Destructoid.
No More Heroes III is a hack & slash game with a third person perspective. Players take on the role of Travis Touchdown, an assassin who must save the world from an army of aliens and their leader, Prince Fu. The aliens pretend to be superheroes, ‘because humanity loves them so much’.
The publisher of the ports is Xseed Games, a company that specializes in games originally from Japan. The game developer is Grasshopper Manufacture, headed by Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51. They are also known from games such as Lollipop Chainsaw, Let It Die, Killer7 and Killer is Dead.
Trailer is for the existing Switch version of the game; images of the ports are not there yet
