No Man’s Sky releases October 7 on Nintendo Switch
The Switch version of No Man’s Sky will be released on October 7. Developer Hello Games previously said the game would be released this summer, but the release has now been pushed back to fall.
A physical and digital version of No Man’s Sky will be available for Switch. As on the other console and PC versions, the worlds are procedurally generated. Also, all expansions released by that time are available. Since the release of No Man’s Sky in 2016, 19 free updates have been released.
The Switch port was announced earlier this year. At that time, the development of that version had already been going on for a few years. Initially, the Switch port was supposed to be released this summer, although no release date was announced. In the announcement of the Leviathan update in May, the developer said he’s “busy putting the finishing touches on the Switch version.”
