Nissan Ariya with a range of 360 km costs 47,390 euros and is available from summer
Nissan has announced pricing and availability for its Ariya crossover. The electric car can be ordered with a 63kWh or 87kWh battery and prices vary from 47,390 euros to 66,390 euros. The car has a range of up to 500 kilometers.
Only the basic Advance version gets that 63kWh battery with a range of 360 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. This variant also gets a single electric motor that produces 160kW, or 217hp. This car also has 19″ alloy wheels, DAB audio, heated seats, steering wheel and windshield, and two 12.3″ screens. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice control.
The Nissan Ariya Evolve costs 56,390 euros, gets the larger 87kWh battery and a range of 500 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. This model has the longest range of all Ariya models. From this version, the electric Nissan will also receive a 22 kW on-board charger, which allows the car to be charged faster than the standard 7.4 kW on-board charger. With 178kW or 242hp, this car is also slightly more powerful and has, among other things, adaptive headlights, ventilated front seats, head-up display and a parking aid system.
The e-4ORCE Evolve version will have four-wheel drive thanks to two electric motors with a system output of 225 kW, or 306 hp. This model costs 61,390 euros. That four-wheel drive makes the weight higher and the range smaller by 460km. The electrically operated panoramic roof of this version also contributes to the higher weight.
Nissan calls the e-4ORCE Performance the top model of the Ariya and gives it a system power of 290kW, or 394hp. This version costs 66,390 euros and has ‘aerodynamic’ 20″ rims. The range of this model is 400 kilometers.
All models are now available for pre-order; only the Advance and the Evolve will be delivered from the summer. The two e-4ORCE models will not be delivered until autumn 2022. The electric car was initially supposed to appear in the middle of this year, something that was postponed due to the chip shortages.
Like the electric Renault Mégane, the Nissan Ariya uses the modular, electric CMF-EV platform. This car will appear from March and will have a range of up to 470 kilometers with a 60 kWh battery. A range of 300 kilometers should be possible with the 40 kWh battery.
