Nintendo is releasing the smartphone game Dragalia Lost this summer. It is an action RPG in a new series. The game is co-created with the Japanese Cygames and will be released first in Japan. A release in Europe will follow after that.

Nintendo has put a website online and released a Japanese trailer of the Dragalia Lost. The video shows the graphical style and some gameplay moments. According to a description in the Google Play Store, the game will have 60 characters with voices.

The action RPG is coming out for Android and iOS and will be released in Japan in the summer. When the game will be released in Europe is not yet known. The game is being made in collaboration with Cygames, the developer of Granblue Fantasy. That is a popular smartphone RPG in Japan, the first version of which came out in 2014.

Dragalia Lost is Nintendo’s first smartphone game not based on an existing franchise. Previously, Nintendo released Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

Also, Dragalia Lost is Nintendo’s first smartphone game not made in collaboration with DeNa. At the end of last year, it was rumored that Nintendo was looking for more developers to jointly release smartphone games.
