Nintendo releases Mario vs. Donkey Kong game out for Switch in February

Nintendo releases Mario vs. Donkey Kong will be released early next year for the Nintendo Switch. This is again a 2D puzzle platformer, in which Mario competes against Donkey Kong. The game will be released on February 16.

Nintendo announced Mario vs. Donkey Kong on Thursday afternoon during his Direct presentation. Based on that presentation, it appears to be a remake of the original Mario vs. Donkey Kong game to go. It was released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance.

Gamers play as Mario, who must save Mini-Mario toys from Donkey Kong. The game takes place in several puzzle levels, in which Mario must obtain a key and then reach the exit. The Switch version of the game will feature co-op, something that was missing from the original.
