Nintendo promises to make announcements this fall
Nintendo has promised shareholders that it will announce more products that will be released this year. This is probably about games. Shareholders were concerned about the lineup after E3 game fair.
Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima said at the general meeting of shareholders that this year’s lineup is not yet complete. “We are preparing to provide more information to customers at an appropriate time, including products that will be released during the important season at the end of the year.”
In doing so, Kimishima mentioned the lineup of games the company has already announced, such as Mario Tennis Ace and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It is unknown which games Nintendo has not yet shown and which can also be in stores this fall.
Nintendo also said during the meeting that it can probably get enough components to meet the previously set target for the Nintendo Switch. The Japanese company aims to produce 20 million units of the Switch this year. The Switch was released in the spring of 2017 and suffered from limited deliveries shortly after release.
