Nintendo Announces Mario Tennis Aces for Switch

Nintendo has announced a new tennis game starring Mario. Mario Tennis Aces is due out this spring for the Switch console. The game will have a story mode with missions and boss fights.

Nintendo announced the new Mario tennis game during a Nintendo Direct broadcast and the company immediately showed the first images. The game offers the possibility to play tennis games between different Nintendo characters, but in addition there is a story mode with various missions and bosses to defeat.

It’s not the first time that a Mario tennis game has a storyline, so did Mario Tennis on the Game Boy Advance. However, the latest game in the series, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, on Wii U, did not have this.

Nintendo has not yet released more information about the game, such as the different modes and the number of players that Tennis Aces will support.
