Nintendo announces eShop-exclusive Kirby’s Dream Buffet for Switch

Nintendo announces a new Kirby game for the Switch. The Kirby game is yet to be released this summer. The game starring the pink Nintendo figure will be released exclusively through Nintendo’s eShop.

Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be released sometime this summer. In the game you can complete a parkour with obstacles together with up to four friends. There is a lot of cake to eat along the way. Whoever manages to eat the most sweets gets bigger and bigger and can therefore roll over the track faster.

With its obstacle course and multiplayer elements, the gameplay is somewhat reminiscent of Fall Guys, which recently appeared for the Nintendo Switch. Kirby’s Dream Buffet can be played with up to three others. In a trailer, Nintendo shows the first gameplay of the game.

An exact release date has not yet been announced. Nintendo does announce that no physical release is planned for the game. Kirby’s Dream Buffet will soon be available only through the Nintendo eShop.

Earlier this year, a Kirby game was released for the Nintendo Switch: Kirby and the Forgotten World. More in line with previous games, this game is a single player adventure where the player goes through a storyline with Kirby.
