Nintendo and Humble Bundle Offer Game Bundle for 3DS and Wii U
Humble Bundle and Nintendo are jointly releasing a game bundle for the second time, which can be purchased for an amount of your choice. A portion of the proceeds go to charities. It is the first time that European gamers can buy the Nintendo Humble Bundle.
The Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle follows the well-known Humble concept, where a collection of games can be purchased for a payment starting at 1 dollar. By paying more than the average, buyers get more games. There are also two games that can only be obtained by paying a certain amount. In the case of the Nintendo bundle, this concerns Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition for the Nintendo 3DS and Darksiders II for the Wii U. To get these games, you have to pay a minimum of 13 dollars.
In total, the bundle currently contains eight games and a theme from the Nintendo eShop. A few more games will be added to this in a week. The promotion runs until May 10 at 8 p.m. The additional games will be announced at the same time on May 3. Anyone who paid more than the average at the time of purchase will receive those extra games. If you still want to buy them, but have paid less than the average, you can still make up the difference.
When paying, customers can choose where the amount of their purchase goes. The money can be divided between the developers of the games and charities. The Nintendo Bundle supports SOS Children’s Villages and Code.org.
Humble Bundle continuously sells limited-time bundles of PC games. The service started with indie games, but now works regularly with major publishers. The release of a bundle of console games is rare, but not the first time. In 2015, Nintendo brought a game bundle to the Humble platform for the first time. At the time, however, Europeans could not participate in the action, which is now the case.
