Nintendo adds paid subscriptions to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
Nintendo is adding paid subscriptions to its Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp smartphone game. The subscriptions will be available from Wednesday, at an unknown price.
Players have received an in-game news update regarding the arrival of Pocket Camp Club. That is the name under which the subscriptions will be available. There is a subscription that allows players to designate a lucky animal as a camp caretaker and another subscription gives players fortune cookies and the ability to store furniture and clothing in warehouses.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will remain free to play, subscriptions are optional. Players could already spend money on in-game purchases in the game. That won’t change either. It is not yet known what the Pocket Camp Club subscriptions cost. Nintendo has already provided its Mario Kart smartphone game with a subscription, which costs 5.5 euros per month.
