Nintendo has added games from the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance to its Switch Online subscription. This allows subscribers to play Tetris and old Zelda games for handhelds, among other things.

The Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games are available immediately, says Nintendo. There will be more games in the future. The Game Boy games are included in the regular Switch Online subscription, the GBA games are included in the more expensive Expansion Pack. Games from the Nintendo 64 console and Sega Mega Drive, among others, were already playable via the subscription.

In addition to the old games, Nintendo also had news about new games in its Direct stream. For example, it has announced the price of its new Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game will cost 70 euros. The game will be released on May 12.

Update, 8:57: This article initially stated that Tears of the Kingdom will be the first Switch game to cost 70 euros, but that is not correct. Breath of the Wild also had that suggested retail price.
